    Percepciones y prácticas de difusión de estudios sobre cambio climático en universidades de El Salvador

    The study analyzes university strategies for disseminating climate change studies in El Salvador, expanding upon findings published by the author in Perspectiva Científica (2025). Using a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, a structured survey was conducted with 386 university participants. Results reveal moderately positive perceptions and gaps in institutional visibility. Social media stands out as the main dissemination channel, and strengthening the culture of sustainability through innovative communication strategies is recommended.

    Prácticas sostenibles en turismo, alternativa para contrarrestar los efectos del cambio climático en zonas costeras

    Climate change has severely impacted communities in the coastal areas of El Salvador, which is why the study addressed the reality of inhabitants and businesses located in the coastal territories belonging to the central/eastern region, departments that have not yet experienced depredation by foreign hotel and tourism companies. The proposed question was: Can sustainable practices contribute to emerging from poverty conditions in communities of coastal territories? The study was descriptive, employing quantitative and qualitative techniques. Finally, the results reflect little knowledge of sustainable practices among both inhabitants and those responsible for tourist service businesses.
